It is not a substitute for tool-specific normative scoring, which is generated automatically by every commercial CPT vendor's reporting platform against their own age- and sex-matched normative sample.

Clinical decisions should rest on the integrated clinical picture: structured interview, developmental history, multi-source rating scales, functional impairment, and rule-outs. CPT testing is one input among many. No CPT score, on its own, establishes or rules out an ADHD diagnosis.
